Whitman Neighborhood Council is a volunteer-run organization made up of residents who live within the designated neighborhood boundary that meet regularly to maintain and improve the quality of life in Spokane, increase resident participation in local decision-making, and form an effective partnership between the City and neighborhood residents.

Anyone who lives or works in Whitman is encouraged to attend. There are no dues or fees for membership. Please join us!

The Whitman Neighborhood Council is in City Council District 1 and is in County Commissioner District 2.

Use this webpage to learn about upcoming meetings, events and opportunities to get involved with for the Whitman Neighborhood Council.

Annual neighborhood projects include:

Projects are driven by neighborhood volunteer capacity and interest. If you would like to participate in or lead a project in the neighborhood, please attend an upcoming meeting or reach out to Neighborhood Council Chair at charles_hansen@prodigy.net
